Tyd wag vir Niemand is an Abstract First Person Adventure game created by Skobbejak Games for PC/Mac/Linux and is now available for purchase on Steam. Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions planned for the future.
Manipulate time to your will at any moment to solve challenges, avoid deadly traps and make it to the end of this strange journey.
Tyd wag vir Niemand is an indie abstract adventure filled with mystical environments that will put your abilities to the test and engage you in a world of mystery and wonder.
In Tyd wag vir Niemand you take on the role of a military rescue agent sent on a mission to retrieve a science team that went missing in Antarctica while studying a mysterious machine inside an ancient
pyramid found on the continent.
However, after making it to the machine it activates and you are transported to a different dimension,
between the normal perceptions of space and time.
Now, armed with a strange device that allows you to slow down time at will you must find a way out of this weird and dangerous dimension and ultimately uncover the mystery behind the dimension you are
trapped in and maybe learn a bit more than you bargained for in the process.
-Large, abstract environments
-Fun, tricky obstacles
Development on Tyd wag vir Niemand began in September 2016, at first we didnt know what exactly this game was going to be, we didnt even have a name for it we just knew that we wanted
something similar to our previous game 'n Verlore Verstand, as we like the idea of abstract environments in games and wanted to expand on that idea, but this time we wanted something more
focused and refined, with a strong central game mechanic.
Tyd wag vir Niemand was then posted onto Steam Greenlight on November 23 2016 and was greenlit on December 6 2016.
We then released Tyd wag vir Niemand under Steam Early Access on 14 February 2017, where we spent the next 5 months adding more levels, fixing bugs and adding suggestions made by the community.
Then on 7 July 2017, Tyd wag vir Niemand fully launched on Steam.
As for the future, we still have some updates to sort out some minor issues and add features such as VR support and a Level Creation System with Steam Workshop support and we are also planning on porting Tyd wag vir Niemand to Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switc
Current and Future Plans
We are currently still working on the Steam version of Tyd wag vir Niemand and sorting out some minor issues via patches and we also want to add VR functionality with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive support as well as a Level Creation system with Steam Workdhop support. We are also working towards Xbox One and Playstation4/VR versions of Tyd wag vir Niemand and hopefully a Nintendo Switch version in the future as well.
We are also heavily invested in ramping up our marketing and pr at the moment as our latest title Tyd wag vir Niemand is performing quite a bit worse in sales than our previous titles and we are at risk of going under if we cant get any help soon. If you have some spare time we would really appreciate it if you could listen to our story and if you can help out in any way we will be even more grateful.
Hi everyone, my name is Tiaan Gerber, Director of Skobbejak Games and I want to share you our story and, if you are able, ask for a little bit of help.
Please understand, we dont mean to beg for attention or money, we just want to get Tyd wag vir Niemand in contact with its intended audience and we need some help to spread the word, Skobbejak Games is a small 2-man company and we get very little time for marketing and pr as our time is almost completely taken up by developing the games you all deserve. We also dont make a lot of revenue in sales so we cant spend any money on marketing and advertising either and rely on word of mouth.
We are currently in a very tight bind as we were recently forced to move out of our parents place, my mom and dad got divorced and our house was sold, my parents cant take care of me anymore either. Alex's parents are at retirement age and dont have the means to look after him anymore either. On top of this I need to help my little brother who is working a dead end job and cant afford a place on his own, we also depend on his salary to survive as well. We dont know what we are going to do and it is scaring us immensely as currently we arent going to be able to pay rent or buy food.
Recently, Steam has also changed their system that makes it a bit more difficult for smaller developers to stand out on the Steam Store on Launch, however we completely understand and respect Valve's decisions on making these changes and the gaming industry is growing and changing rapidly. We fully understand and respect that they need to do whats best for not only the company but the industry as whole as well. These changes were unforeseen on our part for Tyd wag vir Niemand's release though and we do need help in order to get Tyd wag vir Niemand to reach its intended audience and help bring in more sales.
Again, we are sorry for laying our sob story out on all of you and we truly arent ones who want to beg for attention or money, we just want to make awesome games for you all but without some help we might not be able to survive and we dont know what else to do other than be fully transparent about the situation.
Please, any and all support would be immensely appreciated to help spread Tyd wag vir Niemand.
We hope everyone enjoys the game and we cant wait to hear what you all think about it.
